Sherilyn Herreria Krayeski BBA, M.Ed., Developmental Specialist, Founder

Sherilyn is a Developmental Specialist with over 15 years of experience supporting toddlers and their families through early intervention and parent coaching. Her work centers on helping parents understand their child’s development and gain confidence in supporting learning through play, connection, and everyday routines. Serving the local communities as both an educator, developmental specialist and Program Director, Sherilyn has guided teams of early intervention professionals to implement family-centered services in Hawaiʻi. She believes that every parent is their child’s first and most important teacher—and that meaningful growth happens when families feel empowered through understanding a child’s development and supported through personalized coaching. With warmth, passion and practical insight, she helps families navigate milestones, foster communication, and create joyful, nurturing home environments that help young children thrive. Sherilyn holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a Masters in Special Education from Chaminade University of Honolulu.

Beth Young M.Ed., Developmental Specialist

Beth brings over two decades of experience in early childhood special education and family coaching across Hawaiʻi and the mainland. She has worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with diverse developmental needs, supporting each child’s growth through play, relationship-based learning, and individualized strategies. Her background includes conducting developmental evaluations, writing family-centered goals, and collaborating closely with speech, occupational, and physical therapists. Beth has guided countless families through transitions from early intervention to preschool and kindergarten, always centering the parent-child relationship. She is passionate about empowering caregivers to understand their child’s strengths and to feel confident supporting development at home. Her work reflects both deep professional expertise and a warm, compassionate approach rooted in the belief that every child can thrive when families are supported and informed.

Alyssa Bannister M.S. CCC-SLP

Alyssa Bannister, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in early intervention services and communication development. She earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno. In addition to providing in-home early intervention, Alyssa also works in private practice, where she supports children with a variety of communication needs. She has experience with speech-language delays and gestalt language processing and is passionate about helping families foster meaningful growth in their child’s communication. Alyssa values a play-based, family-centered approach that empowers caregivers and supports progress within the natural home environment.

Ilana Ashmore, M.Ed., Developmental Specialist

Ilana brings over 15 years of experience in early childhood and special education to our team. She currently teaches Pre-K at Waialua Elementary School and previously served as a Special Education Teacher supporting students from preschool through elementary grades. Her background includes work as an Autism Therapist with the Lovaas Institute and as a Head Start educator, where she developed a deep commitment to supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, and academically.

Ilana holds a Master’s in Education from Temple University with dual certification in Elementary Education (K–6) and Special Education (Pre-K–12). She also integrates her background as a certified Sivananda Yoga Instructor into her teaching, fostering calm, connection, and mindfulness in her work with young children and families.
